Ethiopian Broadcasting Authority women runners took part here Sunday at a 5km road race organized around Atlas Hotel in connection with March8, international day of women.
Staff ladies wearing pink colored t-shirts on the back of which authority logo pinned, enthusiastically jogged in dozens towards the hotel escorted by camera man Getachew Girmay. |

‘We are happy. We are lucky to jog and promote the authority,’ they said adding that such an opportunity need to continue in a strengthened manner in the future.
Athletes Haile Gbreselasssie and Meseret Defar have whistled to declare open the race that has attracted 9,000 jubilants and seen a new record time of 15 minutes,
44seconds and 16 microseconds against the previous that was 15 minutes and 44 seconds. |
