Addis Ababa: - Some forty three eligible Ethiopian Broadcasting Authority staff got their tangible and intangible assets registered here last week at the Federal Ethics and Anti Corruption commission.
The registration which was preceded by awareness creation and brain storming session was successful, according to Gizawe Assefa, authority Ethics officer.
The need for registration, registration back ground, experiences of various countries and question –answer sessions were in the list of items presented to the staff by the subject matter experts.
The assets registration proclamation no 668/2010 states that appointees, elected persons and public servants have the obligation to disclose and register their assets and sources of income.
Assets not registered, in absence of proof, to the contrary, is considered as an unexplained property, it was learnt.
