Panorama hotel: - The Ethiopian broadcasting authority initiated two day broad casters joint meeting kicked off here Friday at the panorama hotel.
Opening the forum authority inspection and support work process director, Shiferaw Solomon said that the upcoming broadcasters’ platform would not only enable them share and exchange experiences but also solve problems and sees challenges together. In an effort to establish broadcasters joint platform , not only a concept paper was presented, debated and discussed , but an ad hoc committee meant to facilitate ways and come up with plausible proposals has also been established .
When junior broadcasters showed in the consultative meeting up and presented their reports , the senior broadcaster ETV, however , failed to live up to the expectation and this has disappointed many participants .
Some 22 broadcasters have reportedly attended the meeting.
